Includes: Special Orders signed by Samuel M. Mills, 1st Lt. & Adjt. 28th US Infy, 1pp. quarto, revoking a relief of duty order pertaining to 1st Lt. Ira Mc G. Barton of the 28th U.S. Infantry....plus; Five documents signed by Captain Louis Thompson Morris (served during the Civil War until 1898, d. 1899) 28th Infantry, pertaining to requisitions and inventories. ...plus; Three documents signed by Ira Barton, who served with the 1st & 5th New Hampshire Infantries, as well as the 1st and 2nd New Hampshire Heavy Artillery. A nice group of Reconstruction documents.
