Book, “A Flight to Arras” by Antoine de Saint Expery, translated by Lewis Galantiere, London, William Heinemann Ltd. 1942, 2nd printing, 16p. octavo, yellow lcoth boards, with ownership signature “Tedder” of Sir Arthur Tedder on front free end paper. VG. Sir Arthur Tdder was a veteran of the Royal Flying Corps, and a successful lecturer at Cambridge during the interwar years. He later returned to active service, and was eventually made Chief Air Marshall of the Royal Air Force. He later served as Deputy Commander of SHAEF, and was second in teh command of Allied Forces, answering only to Eisenhower himself.
