A good early solid silver George Washington Inaugural coin, dated 1783 showing a well-executed Roman clad bust pose of the newly anointed president on the front reading: "Washington & Independence." On the verso appears an early version of a seated lady liberty with "United States" at the top. Approximate size of an American half dollar. VG.
