Wonderful Grant and Wilson political campaign stereoview from the 1872 campaign. A large "GRANT & WILSON" flag hangs over a New Hampshire street. The names of the candidates can clearly be seen at the bottom of the flag. On the verso, in period ink, it reads "New Hampton, N.H." Political campaign images are highly sought after by both political and photography collectors alike, especially images with campaign flags! The view in in excellent condition save for two corner nicks in the albumen, not affecting any content. A great 19th Century campaign image.
