The plate, one of Reagan's official White House pattern, is ivory with a thick black border, and a gold leaf with a star pattern around the edges. At the top is the seal of the President of the United States, also in gold. There is a very slight (pinhead size) repair done in gold to the very top edge of the seal, very negligible. The manufacturers stamp, Castleton Studios, is stamped on the verso.
