From the interior, a small but significant report, “Jonquin Captured, Beheaded and his Body in the Hands of his Captors!” Continues in large part, “It has just been reported that the company of Rangers commanded by Captain Harry Love, met with the notorious murderer and robber Jonquin ... at Panocha Pass. ... Capt. Love is now on his way down with his prisoners and the head of Jonquin preserved in spirits. ..”
