1777 Massachusetts Bay Treasury Loan Certificate, £10 Shillings, Anderson MA-10, Choice Extremely Fine. 8.25" x 8.25." Interesting "Sword in Hand" type bond by Hurd. Low serial number (No.43). The plate printing quality is strong and there are only some minor splits, not detracting from the face appearance. Most of the folds have been reinforced on the back with archival tape to preserve the integrity of the note. Quite a nice example of this patriotic American fiscal instrument.
