February 21, 1782 Militia Tax Document, Pennsylvania, Fine. 2.5" x 7.5" Manuscript Document Signed on fine-laid paper. Received by Col. William Farrier, who signs at bottom using an oval "mark." Crisp brown-inked writing reads: "Then Recd of Wm. Collin the sum of 7-6 In full for tax, for Filling Up the Pensylvana (sic) Line." Moderate soiling, folds, and small tape repair on verso. A scarce and unusual militia tax receipt from the American Revolutionary War era.
