A complete and authentic issue of the Harper’s Weekly, August 2, 1862, 16pp., disbound, VG. From the front a full page cover engraving of impressed Slaves “Cutting The Canal Opposite Vicksburg,” with accompaning report. Then from the interior, a 1/2 page engraving of “The City of Vicksburg, Mississippi.” Finally, another 1/2 page engraving “California Joe Of The Berdan Sharp-Shooters.
