Sterling Souvenir Spoon With Confederate Theme, 5-1/2”, recently polished, nd., c1900, VG. The handle top has an image of a smiling Black boy while the stem shows cotton balls in blossom. The bowl has an engraved image of the Capitol Building with words, “First Capitol of the Confederacy, Montgomery Ala.” Montgomery served as the CSA Capitol Confederacy from February 1861 until late May 1861.
