Election Folder, 8-1/2” x 9-1/2” folded to a four panel, 2 color piece, Little Rock, c1958. Front panel “For Their Sake ... And Yours” shows white school children. From the 2nd & 3rd panel “Why We Are Offering Our Services As Directors Of Your School Board” continues with five points. The first, “We believe in segregation ...” The candidates were Ted Lamb, W.F. Billy Rector, Everett Tucker, Jr., Russell Matson, Jr., and Mrs. C.W. Stephens. This piece was issued directly after the Little Rock nine enrolled in 1957. The schools closed in 1958, and as a result of this board, were reopened in 1959.
