A complete and authentic issue of the Harper’s Weekly, January 25, 1862, 16pp., disbound, VG. From the front cover, a full page engraving of the gallant General McClellan on horseback with a caption, “Little Mac Out Again.” Also, from the interior, a 1/2 page engraving, “Execution of Private Lanahan ... For Murder in Washington.” McClellan signed the death warrant which placed the private on the gallows.
