Autograph Letter Signed, "George W. Beach" 2p. quarto, Subsistence Department, 2d Brigade, 2d Division, 3d Corps, September 26, 1863, addressed to James Earle, and reads in part: "...I have the honor to report...that notwithstanding Fresh Bread and Vegetables have in every instance been demanded when drawing of my subsistence stores at the 'Depot' in Culpeper they were not furnished, as they were not on hand..." With several endorsements signed by various officers and commissary agents, including Lt. Col. George H. Woods, 1st Minnesota and Brevet Brig. General Daniel D. Wiley. VG.
