An 1847 N. Currier tinted litho of an American General Scott of the Mexican War astride horse, with drawn saber in hand and troops attacking hill fortress in background. Uniform tinted blue with his epaulettes, scabbard and horse blanket edges in gold tint, horse posed on light green hill. In 12” x 14” board-backed frame. Examined out of frame, litho has irregularly trimmed margins all around and pencil outline of image on verso. There is some staining, mainly in background, with litho itself still sharp and colorful.
