Then follows is a stacked headline (no story), “AT REST, A Grand But Sad Funeral Cortege Ends, The Earthly Honors Of America’s Greatest General ...” There are seven vignettes of Grant’s demise to include, mourning ruled image, the casket, the death bed, the embalming, the death mask, the cottage at Mt. McGregor and the private ceremonies. On the reverse, another 13 vignettes are presented. Pulpy paper, minor tissue repair at fold.Ulysses S.
