A rare ca. 1850 California Gold Mining related stationery, unused, 2pp. 4to., entitled: "Miner's Life-Illustrated," published by Barbor & Baker, Sacramento, California. The varied scenes are titled: "Miner's Home", "Miner Cooking", "Miner's Dream", Miner's Evening", and "Miner's Claim". With several provocative scenes including the "Saturday Evening" scene showing gambling. The view of "Friends in the Country" showing Asians workers and Native Americans co-mingling with the miners. And the "Miner Cooking" scene showing sleeping and drinking going on. rinted on pale blue stationery and quite attractive. Previously silked with light soiling and spotting, else VG
