A nice 1863 Southern patriotic sheet music tilted: "The SOUTHERN SOLDIER BOY SONG. As Sung by Miss. Sallie Partington in the Virginia Cavalier at the Richmond New Theatre." 3pp. large folio, published with lithograph cover by George Dunn, Richmond, 1863. The lyrics, read, in part: "Bob, Roe buck is my sweetheart's name, he's off to the war and gone. He's fighting for his Nannie dear, His sword is buckled on…he is…my Southern Soldier Boy…". Light spotting and damp stains, else VG.
