Manuscript Document Signed, 2p. quarto, November 25, 1857, Fulton County, Georgia, and reads in part: “...This indenture made...between Lemuel Dean...and Louisa M. Dean...for and in consideration of the sum of five dollars...and for the natural love and affection which the said Lemuel Dean has and bears towards his daughter...do hereby give and bequeth unto the said Louis M. Dean...a certain negro girl by the name of Ann of dark complexion, about sixteen years of age together with her increase...a slave for life...” Good.
