Leatherbound photograph album of negroes, containg eleven carte de visites and albumens, eight tintypes, and two watercolors of a cat with two American flags and a derrogatory negro image. The backmarks on the CDVs range from Wilmington, NC, to Richmond, Va, to Columbus, Ohio and even one from Liverpool. Several appear to be mulatoes. The photos are generally VG. A nice photo album of negroes from the late 19th century.
