Autograph Letter Signed, “Charles Sumner” 1p. octavo, Boston, October 31, 1871, with front panel of cover franked by Sumner addressed to Senator MacDonald, it reads “Weill you kindly look at the Ex. Journal for the year of 1862, & send me the date of the report in favor of the slave-trade trial Treaty with G.B., also the rate of the vote...” Good.
