A colorful tinted version of "De Skeeters Do Bite" by Marshall S. Pike (Boston: C. Bradlee & Co., 1845), 3pp., large folio, 10 1/8" x 13 1/4", the lyrics are written in dialect as would become the norm for such material during the 19th century. The front page is beautifully engraved and colored with a gold border frame along the outer edges with red/gold lettering while the male performers wear yellow shirts and the woman wears a red accented dress! Simply the best and ready for framing. Light soiling, else very good.
