MARK AND HASTY, OR SLAVE-LIFE IN MISSOURI, written for the Twenty-First Pennsylvania Anti-Slavery Fair (Philadelphia: 1856), 36pp., 4" x 6", embossed gilt and maroon boards. Essentially a child's tale of broken families, this work is apparently based upon true events as they transpired in St. Louis. Splashed stain on cover, chip to the spine, else very good condition.
