A good Civil War era 1861 minstrel sheet music, 6pp., 10 1/4" x 13 1/8", "The 'CONTRABAND' Schottische." (new edition), Composed by "Sep. Winner" (Philadelphia: Lee & Walker, 1861) with a finely illustrated front cover engraved by Oliver & Ditson, Boston, Mass. showing a slave master chasing several runaway slaves who run for their freedom out the front door of the plantation house. Light foxing, else very good.
