Partially printed document, “State of South Carolina, Battery Pringle, Jas Island,” March 26, 1864, 1pp., Fine. The enlistment is for Jonathon L. B. Williams of Crawford Georgia, who signs it as well as Lieut. F. C. Lucas commanding the battery. It is also signed by T. C. Girardeau, the examining surgeon. On the reverse side Williams makes his declaration to reenlist. The document is in fine condition and a nice example of the various batteries stationed around Charleston.
