Cigarette Card, 1 5/8" x 2 3/8", ca. 1930, Dresden, Germany. African-American songstress and dancer Josephine Baker (1906-1975) emigrated to Europe where she became quite famous and found freedom from segregation. This black and white card was Number 114 in a series produced by Macedonia cigarettes that featured popular entertainers. Fine condition.
