War-date manuscript Union artillery document, 1p. folio, "Head Qrs. of Art. 3rd Div. 1st A. C[orps], Feb. 24, 1863 being Special Orders No. 2 ordering artillery officers to institute a board to review the case of robbery of a sutler's wagon, reading, in part: "…to institute in…my command…the case of attempted robbery of a sutler's wagon in the vicinity of their camps…wherein it is reported one man killed & one man wounded said to be an artilleryman &…while resisting the guard…". Near fine.
