Original Newspaper, Frank Leslie’s Illustrated, September 27, 1862, 16pp., disbound, VG. There are two separate full page wood-cut engravings, each illustrating the Ohio “Squirrel Rifles.” The first, “The Squirrel Rifles, of Green County, Ohio, at the Xenia Railroad Depot, on their way to Cincinnati, to Reinforce the National Army.” the second, “The Squirrel Rifles Entertained by the People of Cincinnati in their Fifth Street Market House, Cincinnati.”
