The first "F. J. Porter / Brt Maj & adjutant" penned during the Mexican War by future Major-General Fitz John Porter…plus; "David Porter / Vice Admiral," penned after the Civil War before David Dixon Porter became a full Admiral in 1870. Both very good condition.
