Letter Signed "Benj. F. Butler," one page, 8vo, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, September 26, 1866, to Rev. E. P. Tenney, Manchetser, Massachusetts, stating, in part: "…I will endeavor to meet with my fellow citizens of Manchester after my return from the West." Included is a an O. Pelton engraved portrait of Butler as a Union Major-General. Both items, fine condition.
