A complete issue of Harper’s Weekly, June 1, 1867, 16pp., disbound, VG. From the front page, a complete engraving “Jeff Davis Leaving The Court House at Richmond ...” The associated story is on the following page. Then, from the interior, another full page engraving, “Trial of Jeff Davis...” And a third engraving, 1/4 page, “Meeting of Horace Greeley and Jeff Davis At Richmond.” It was Greeley and others who raised the $100,000 bail for Davis.
