Matted and mounted albumen photograph, 7” x 9,” to larger mount, “Culpeper, Virginia.”, plate 48, dated Nov. 1863, attributes negative to T.H. O'Sullivan and positive to A. Gardner. the matte carries a second opening with full textual explanation of Culpeper. Minor flaws to the mount, photograph is sharp focused, strong contrast.
