Autograph Letter Signed, Mary L. Washington, 1p. octavo, no date or place, addressed to Lieut. T.F. Randolph, though his name was Lt. Thomas H.B. Randolph, and is from his other POW correspondence. Letter and cover are fine. Thomas Hugh Burwell Randolph (1843-1900) was 2nd Lt. of the 2nd Virginia Infantry and a member of General Pendelton’s staff. He was WIA at 1st Manassas and taken POW at Rapphannock Station on December 5, 1862. He was not released until June 12, 1865.
