Original and complete issue of “The National Police Gazette,” New York, July 20, 1878, 16pp., 11” x 16,” disbound. From the interior, a 1/2 page engraving “Exciting Episode on a Railroad Train ... Tragic Attempt of the Mohan Brothers ... To Escape From Their Captors ...” shows the banditos shooting it out on the train. Another 1/4 page illustration show “Tom Harris, A Drunken Negro Desperado, Terrorizes Pine Bluff Arkansas.”
