Bound Volume Newspapers, The Christian Herald and Sign of Our Times, New York, July 1, 1891 through December 30, 1891, 26 weekly 16 page issues, covers present but somewhat loose, issues are fine. Nearly every page has an illustration, including several of the the Holyland. The general topics a Christian including key names of the period such as Spurgeon and Bottome. One such name is that of Bishop David Walker, who with the financial backing of Cornelius Vanderbilt, had the Pullman Palace Company build a rail car, outfitted with a worship area and a small private apartment for his private use. Bishop Walker's ministry experienced great accomplishments across the prairies of the Dakotas. Each issue also a page “Current Events” which proveides news of the week.
