Manuscript roll, 3p. folio, “List of Names, found at the Same time as the Muster Rolls, of Capt. Sanderlin and Walston, but not on said Rolls”, listing 52 men by name and rank. These men all served in North Carolina units, a quick search revealed that two of the men were captured at Fort Hatteras, August 29, 1861, which would explain their being left off subsequent musters. Capt Sanderlin served with the 33rd North Carolina, Capt Walston served in the 56th. An unusual item. One fold split, else about VG.
