Undated Tennessee Confederate Songster, "TENNESSE! FIRE AWAY!," Choice Extremely Fine. Printed on a black-bordered yellow card stock measuring 7" x 3.25," mounted and framed to an overall size of 9" x 5.25." Five verses, each deriding Yankees or Lincoln and appealing to Tennessee patriotism. “To give you a feeling for the flavor of this ditty, here's the first verse:"Black Republican bandits Have crossed to our shore,/Our soil has been dyed With Tennesse's gore;/The murderer's triumph Was theirs for a day: /Our triumph is coming -- So fire -- fire away! Fire away!” A great southern rarity.
