London, in Richmond, Virginia, the letter reads in part: “...If you see another boat on the terms of the first buy it for me....I will get a boat any how if it is on reasonable terms. I am now planting trees at Edgwood. Its a job. As soon as my mill (saw mill) is done next week I shall put 3 men to work at Edgwood...” More on cows and farming. VG.
