Manuscript Document, 1p. quarto, Richmond County, Georgia, January 4, 1865, and reads “At an election held this day in H troop 29th Ga. Battl. Cav. for Justice of the Inferior Court of Early County Georgia, the following is a list of voters....” Listed are the names of 18 men, with tally sheet on verso, signed by Captain Wade and Lieutenant Howard. Z.W. Lee was received the most overall votes. VG. The 29th Ga. Cavalry Battalion was formed during the winter of 1863-64, and was attached to the Department of South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
