A complete bound volume, January 2, 1886 through December 25, 1886, 52 complete and pristine issues. the binding remains very tight, the issues very clean. Within this volume there are 2 A.B. Frost and 13 Remington prints. Difficult to select, but have listed below several of the key issues; April 24, 1886, front page is taken up with two prints captioned: "Closing Scenes of the Apache War", the upper one: "Geronimo and His Band" and the lower one: "General Crook's Conference With Geronimo", showing both, among others. Inside has a full page with four prints of: "The Hostile Apaches”; May 8, 1886, "A Double Play--First League Game, New York Against Boston, April 29" which shows a game in progress, showing the entire infield and a play about to be made on a runner at second base; July 17, 1886, Fullpg. article on "The Graphophone" shows 3 illus., & begins "One of the most brilliant conceptions of Mr. Thomas Edison was..." August 21, 1886, Front cover 'Soldering in the southwest--The Rescue of Corporal Scott”, a Buffalo soldier; September 18th, A one-quarter page print of: 'Geronimo, The Captured Apache Chief' including an article on: 'Geronimo's Surrender'; October 2, 1886, One-third of a page shows: "The Hostile Apaches--The Captors and the Captured" shows Geronimo and Natchez, plus another one-third pg. illus. of the soldiers who captured them.; November 6, 1886, This issue features a great 8 panel foldout of 'Bartholdi's Statue of Liberty--the Illumination of N.Y. Harbor' at night, with fireworks going off...; December 25, front page Santa Clause by Nast captioned "Twas The Night Before Christmas..."
