Vols as sung by them when approaching the enemy on the shores of North Carolina, Febry 5th 1863 dedicated to Col. Ed Ferrarro," 2pp., 8vo., aboard Gunboat Lancer, Pamlico Sound, Feb 4th 1862." This rousing martial anthem was penned some five weeks before its author's mortal wounding at the Battle of New Bern. Very good condition.
