Manuscript Document Sigend, “ W. H. Hood”, 2p. quarto, pertaining to “Charges and specifications against Henry Fuque of Company E in 3rd Regmt of Va. Volunteers, brought by Sgt. C. McCann of Company E of 3rd Regmt...” Fuque was charged with “Conduct to the prejudice of good order and military discipline...said Henry Fuque was on the 15th day of August drunk and while in that condition, did behave in a disorderly and improper manner...” Fuque was found quilty. Fine.William Henry Hood (1832-1908) Graduated VMI 1856, made Capt. Co. D, 3rd Va. and rose to Lt. Col. of Hood’s Battalion Virginia Reserves. He served in the Petersburg trenches, was taken POW in June 1864, and exchanged December 1864. One of the Immortal 600.
