A wonderful presidential campaign jugate lithograph for Grover Cleveland's and Thomas Hendericks' 1884 presidential campaign, measuring 27" x 19 3/4" (sight) house in the original black floral carved gold stenciled frame, published by Kurtz and Allison, Chicago. The portraits of of the "DEMOCRATIC NOMINEES" Grover Cleveland and Thomas Hendericks are prominently displayed at the center of the print while former presidents, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson and Columbia look on approvingly to the candidate's nomination. The Democratic Party's policies of working for the common man is enforced with two men flanking either side of the print; one man reprints agriculture and the other represents industry. Lightly toned on the left side which lovely gives this rare 1884 presidential campaign piece character! Not examined out of its original frame. Overall VG.
