A good early, ca. 1851 booklet, entitled: "Sketch of The Life…of Charles S. Stratton, The Man in Miniature known as GENERAL TOM THUMB, Nineteen Years Old, Twenty-Eight Inches High and Weighing only Fifteen Pounds…", in yellow wrappers, 25pp. 8vo., published by Van Norden, New York, 1851 with a finely illustrated engraving of Barnum's American Museum advertisement on the inside front cover and another engraving on the verso depicting Tom Thumb entertaining European royalty.
