A War Dated Newspaper Grouping of 10 issues of the Evening Star, Washington DC, 1863-64, each issues are 4pg., disbound, VG. Each of the issues carries front page advertisements for FORD’S NEW THEATER as well the others, Washington Theater, Canterbury Hall, and Grover’s Theater. All of these were attended at one time or another by President Lincoln. Of course, each issue carries war reports as well.
