Partially printed document, "Special Requisition," one page with docketing, 8vo, Augusta, Georgia, November 22, 1864, signed twice by Captain L.P. Grant, Engineers and George McWhorter, A.A.A.G., requesting 25 camp kettles and 100 mess pans for "Negro forces on defenses of Augusta." It is unclear as to whether the laborers were free or slave. Very good condition.
