A portrait of the Confederacy's aged former president dominates this white silk ribbon titled "In Memoriam" and dated December 1889. Jefferson Davis was initially buried in New Orleans, however three years later his body was moved to Richmond. Memorial badges from this first internment are quite rare. Stains, fracturing to the silk. Fair condition.
