Large 17-1/2" x 19-1/4" albumen of President Grant's funeral procession down State Street in Albany, NY shortly after his death in July 1885. The large image pictures thousands of mourners lined on the street as Grant's hearse is lead to the Capitol building. A very rare image, especially in this large format. There is some damage to the bottom left corner, and a few creases. Would make a dramatic presentation matted and framed.
