Bounce, 2 pp., 8vo, Brandon, Mississippi, September 31, 1863, to Uncas Bounce, n.p., reading, in part: "I wish to know if you want all the iron we saw lying around the blacksmith shop. Such as anvils, hammers chains &c hauled away…The people in Jackson will not sell me lead without the money…Dr. Rector starts Monday to see Gen. Sherman to know if he will let him cross the river he is going to Texas…" Uneven lower edge, else very good condition.
