Manuscript document, 2pp., 16" x 12 ¾", n.p., n.d., an exceptionally detailed return for an unidentified regiment. Though of unknown provenance, this report is of considerable interest and value since it itemizes the weapons, tools and equipment distributed to a large body of Confederate troops. For instance, ammunition is specifically designated as being for Enfield, Mississippi and Austrian rifles - all rebel favorites. Of particular note is the entry recording six Columbus Armory carbines on hand. The mundane is given its due as well with listings of everything from pin cushions to pencils. Possibly lacking a panel or a cover, else very good condition.
