A nice war-date 1864 presidential document being a printed, 2pp. 8vo., proclamation signed in type "ABRAHAM LINCOLN", War Department, Washington, July 19, 1864, being General orders No. 232 announcing Lincoln's call for "Five Hundred Thousand Volunteers" after Grant's bloody Overland Campaign during the spring of 1864. Minor soiling, else VG.
